South Carolina and UCF drop to Q2. Arky win stays Q1, barely. The Committee will start meeting this week, so this version of the teamsheet is going to be their first impression. See below.
Note: @UCF and @USC falling out of Teir 1 makes our home/road record in Tier 1 look horrible:
Away: 1-5
Neutral: 0-1
Home: 4-1
That is an EASY thing for a Committee member to see and move down their board. MIZZOU is only 1-6 in tournament quality games (Tier 1) away from home. I liked it much better at 3-5, which is where is stood before UCF and USC fell out.
How to fix our Tier 1 problem:
We need USC to win and face Arky. Then if Arky wins they both should be in the top 75, regardless of the Arky vs Florida outcome. But either way, as long as USC beats Ole Miss, at least one of those will remain as Tier 1.
UCF takes on buttass ECU #273 in the RPI, so they will still be right near the 75 line after that (hopeful) win. But a 2nd round matchup with #19 Houston will ensure they stop top 75, win or lose.
So simply root for USC on Wednesday night and UCF on Thursday night. And the problem will fix itself.
