I spend probably too much time focused on uniforms. Here’s what I want to see in the years to come as Eli makes some changes (fingers crossed).
- Get rid of the cheesy tiger scratch vertical stripes on the pants. It’s the SEC, not the X-Men.
- 86 the cheesy bengal pattern on the sleeve endings.
- Helmet-jersey-pants colors need to start matching. I can’t believe this has to be said. If you want to go from gold to yellow that’s fine, just have everything match.
- If the budget will allow, bring in a throwback set or two.
- Bring back the limited addition Nike uniforms we wore exclusively for the kansas games.
- Once you have a good design template, throw in some additional color concepts. Oregon and OK-State do this well and it takes zero design work.
