Mizzou’s record against SEC opponents since joining in 2012 and all-time:
UGA 1-11; 1-12
Florida 6-6; 7-6 (‘66 Sugar Bowl win)
Tenn 6-6; 6-6
S.Car 7-5; 9-5 (‘05 Independence win)
UK 5-7; 5-9 (lost in ‘65, ‘68)
Vandy 9-3; 11-4-1 (we played in 1895/1896!)
Bama 0-4; 2-5 (‘14 SECCG, ‘68 Gator win)
LSU 1-2; 2-2 (‘78 Liberty win, ‘75 win)
TAMU 2-2; 7-9 (Miz 0-6 prior to 2000)
MSU 0-2; 2-2
OleMiss 2-0; 7-1
Arky 8-2; 11-4 (‘08 Cotton w, ‘03 Indy L)
Auburn 0-3; 1-3 (‘73 Sun Bowl W, ‘13 SECCG)
Since 2012:
34-38 (.472) vs East
13-15 (.464) vs West
47-53 (.460) overall
All-Time:
39-42-1 (.476) vs East
32-26 (.551) vs West
71-68-1 (.507) overall
Losing to UGA, Bama, LSU, AUB expected
Losing to MSU/UK…not acceptable
.500 vs UF/UT/TAMU wouldve shocked most non-Mizzou fans
Blood donors: Arkansas, Vandy, SCar, Ole Miss
Mizzou will have its up and down years, like most programs but we were a great addition to this conference. Added a robust competitor in a well-populated footprint.
We’ve benefited tremendously as well. Our media coverage is noticeably more prevalent. We’re making a boat-load more money, our facilities have improved DRAMATICALLY (and still have a ways to go!), recruiting has never been better/NIL helps us, and we’re a more attractive program in terms of a coaching destination given all of the above.
Lots of reasons for optimism for this program especially considering we probably have as-good or even the best leadership combination in program history under HCED, DRF, and the Chancellor!
Schedule seemingly sets up great for another deep run in conference next season.
