South Carolina just beat Tennessee 72-63. Follow along as Mizzou takes on Georgia; the winner will face South Carolina tomorrow.

MIZZOU STARTERS: Sophie Cunningham, Lauren Aldridge, Amber Smith, Cierra Porter Jordan Frericks
GEORGIA STARTERS: Taja Cole, Caliya Robinson, Haley Clark, Que Morrison, Mackenzie Engram

Notables: More Tennessee fans are here than Mizzou and Georgia combined, but more Mizzou than Georgia. The Bulldog band is much louder than Marching Mizzou, though.

Tigers in their black jerseys, Bulldogs in white. Let's get started.

QUARTER ONE
Not surprising that Georgia's press was tough with that first possession. Cierra Porter drops in the layup, though, with two seconds left on the shot clock.

Georgia leads 4-2 as a foul is called on Mackenzie Engram. Jordan Frericks to the line and makes both. Tie game, 8 minutes left.

Cunningham rebounds her own missed layup and makes it. Tied at 6 with 6:38 left.

Porter and Cunningham both miss jumpers. Georgia out to a 10-6 lead with 4:45 left.

Timeout: Georgia 10, Missouri 6. 4:26 Q1.

Kayla Michael with an aggressive, elbow-throwing defensive rebound. That's exactly what Missouri needs to do to win this game: match Georgia's intensity and physicality.

Jordan Chavis misses a three. She went up too quick. Understand the thought, but she had 28 seconds left on the clock.

Georgia really pushing the pace right now. Tigers hanging, but I don't know for how long. Bulldogs lead 10-8 with 1:21 left.

Engram DRAINS a three. Georgia takes a 12-8 lead.

END Q1: GEORGIA 12, MISSOURI 8
Frericks leads the Tigers with four points. Engram leads all scorers with 6 points. Tigers ended the quarter on a 3:06 scoring drought and made just 1-of-8 FG to end the first 10 minutes.

QUARTER TWO

Chavis and Cunningham both miss three-point attempts. This is an incredibly defensive game. Georgia still leads 12-8 with 7:47 left.

Yikes. Frericks forces a turnovers, but Robinson blocked the hell out Frericks layup attempt. Still Mizzou's ball.

Taja Cole is fiesty and quick. She gets around Cunningham and Frericks to drop in a layup. Georgia leads 14-10 with 6:30 left.

Aldridge for three brings this to a 1-point game, but Morrison's jumper extends it back to three. Georgia leads 16-13, 5:17.

TV TIMEOUT (4:58): Georgia 16, Missouri 13.
Mizzou is 5-23 from the floor.

The score is still 16-13 with 3:30 left. Everybody is missing shots. Mizzou shooting 21 percent compared to Georgia's 35.

2:28 Missouri scoring drought is brought to an end with a layup from Smith. 16-15 Georgia with 3:08 left.

Chavis makes two free throws and this game is tied at 17. 2 minutes left in the half.

Loooong three from Cunningham gives Mizzou the lead, 20-18 with a minute left. Engram follows up with a layup to tie it.

Smith with a three of her own, and Michael blocks a jumper to give Mizzou the lead heading to halftime. That's some momentum to feed off of.

HALFTIME: Missouri 23, Georgia 20.
Cunningham and Cole lead all scorers with 7 points. The Tigers only have six turnovers, compared to the Bulldogs' five, but Georgia has turned those six turnovers into six points.

QUARTER THREE
Less than 20 seconds in and Morrison lays in a jumper. Frericks answers with one of her own. Tigers lead 25-22 with 9 minutes left.

Georgia takes the lead with a jumper from Robinson. 26-25 with 7:15 left.

Robinson with ANOTHER jumper. Georgia's lead grows to three. Tigers have to do a better job defending her.

TV Timeout (4:48): Georgia 30, Missouri 27

Nice around-the-hip pass from Frericks to Porter, who fakes it then calmly drops the ball in basket. Georgia leads 30-29 with 3:36 left.

Cunningham misses a three, and Cole nails a jumper. Georgia leads 33-29 with 2:57 left.

They're reviewing what they called a jump ball play in which Cunningham falls to the ground with Haley Clark and I guess throws some elbows. Correct me if I'm wrong, they're not showing replays here.

Cunningham issued a technical foul for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Georgia beginning its run. Leads 38-29 with 1:30 left. Mizzou on a 2:10 scoring drought.

Smith ends it again with an and-one layup. She makes it. 38-32 Georgia.

Georgia playing Cunningham HARD. I am surprised there hasn't been more calls on the Bulldogs.

END Q3: GEORGIA 40, MISSOURI 32

QUARTER FOUR

Porter's layup cuts Georgia's lead to four.

Wow, Robinson reverse layups right under the nose of Porter. Georgia leads 42-34 with 7:17 to go.

Cunningham misses another three. Tigers are shooting 27 percent from the floor.

Shot-clock violation on Missouri. Georgia leads 42-34 with 6:10 left.

Frericks rebounds, makes the layup. 42-36 Georgia.

TV Timeout (4:18): Georgia 44, Missouri 38

Porter will head to the free throw line after the timeout.

She makes the and-one. It's 44-39 with 4:10 left.

Missouri timeout (2:29): Georgia 46, Missouri 39.
The Tigers look flustered and tired.

Cunningham fouls out of the game with 1:23 to play.

Unsportsmanlike conduct to Porter for grabbing the jersey from behind.

Georgia timeout (1:19): Georgia 48, Missouri 39

Frericks fouls out with 1:15 to play.

Aldridge makes both free throws, and then Cole makes both of hers. Georgia leads 50-41 with under a minute to go.

Bulldogs up by 11 now with under 30 seconds to go. Robinson heads to the line and makes both. The end is near for the Tigers.

FINAL: Georgia 55, Missouri 41. That was a frustrating game to watch, and I'm sure it was even more frustrating to play.
Missouri shot 27 percent from the floor (that's 16-59) and 21 percent from three.
