US private payrolls drop by 20.2 million in April, worst ever for ADP report

Payroll drop in April was more than 20x!! the worst month of Great Recession. And more than twice the total of the entire GR.
And not just in service and hospitality. We still have time to roll much of this back, but until policy makers show an understanding of what metrics and practices are actually relevant(Ab testing for scope, and actual hospitalization resource capacity)...what event or change is going to alter this train that’s coming?
Trump got one thing right recently. The cure is going to be worse than the disease. But he’s been a woefully incompetent leader at identifying and articulating to the American people a risk benefit strategy that is the worst option except all others.
