First off, I don't have the full story on what's going on with Rhodes at this point. I was told by two sources on Wednesday morning that he had left the team; apparently the situation is more complicated than that, and nothing is official -- and that's why I hadn't posted anything about Rhodes before we got more comment from the coaching staff.
A source told me that Clay is dealing with a personal situation, like Odom said Thursday. It has nothing to do with anything inappropriate. I was told it has nothing to do with playing time or the coaching staff, and the Rhodes family could not be more grateful for and appreciative of Coach Odom, Coach Elarbee, Coach Hill and the rest of the coaches and staff. The source said they are humbled by how understanding and supportive this staff has been.
