I’m curious to hear what everyone thinks is the most important game for the upcoming season. I’ve been thinking about how this year could play out for our season to be considered a success, and what game is most critical to making that possible.
My definition of success this year is making the CFP. High aspirations but there are things aligned this year to make it a reasonable goal. I think 10 wins gets us in, 9 and we are probably out. So success is 10 wins. So my thought was what came is most make or break in terms of getting to 10 wins. I ultimately came down to @A&M for a number of reasons. First big test where will not be favored (most likely unless A&M shits the bed early in the season), on the road in a difficult environment, tons of talent but lots of uncertainty with A&M given changes, and if you lose there is zero margin for error the rest of the way outside Bama and OU. We drop this game and I can see the CFP getting out of reach pretty quick.
But curious to see what everyone else thinks.
I excluded non-conference and vandy as options.
