I totally understand prior to today MPJ deciding to sit out and protect his future. However in light of todays injury to CVL it should no longer be a question on whether he plays or not. He now has no choice but to do the right thing.
MPJ made a comittment to the Mizzou Basketball Program and accepted a scholarship. Any rational Mizzou fan was ecstatic at his signing. We understood that he has a very bright future ahead of him in the NBA. We all support him.
Now he has been cleared to play.
Now we have a player out for the year due to an ACL.
Now we are short yet another player.
Now is the time that a young man needs to honor his comittment to our program and step up despite the concerns about next year.
