Here's a little laugh for some of you. I was lucky enough to go to the Chiefs game vs the Patriots last Sunday. It was my two boys' first live NFL game, and a ton of fun. I was a little apprehensive about going into the Pats den with the well-earned reputation of some of their fans, but was pleasantly surprised at how nice they were to us. Most common comment - "well, we used to be pretty good for a while there". We sat in an area that was probably 50% Chiefs fans, so that probably helped too.

Anyway, the stadium has pretty good acoustics and they played a decent mix of tunes during breaks, etc. But later in the game, they played Mr. Brightside, and to my surprise, our famous Mizzou addition to the song (if any of you are mysteriously unaware, Google says: "At the University of Missouri, Tiger fans add an obscene chant directed at their traditional rival, the University of Kansas, after the chorus.") rang out loud and clear! I cracked up. There were a couple of Chiefs fans, who sadly hail from kansas, sitting near us and I heard them chant "f ku" too, and I asked them in an astonished manner, "you too?" They just shrugged their shoulders and said that it just goes with the song anymore! Well, I have to admit it, maybe there are a few decent folks living across the state line! 🤔 🤭
