Mizzou Baseball Coach Steve Bieser was the guest speaker at the Tiger Club of Kansas City on Tuesday, November 7, 2017.
This marks Steve’s second visit to the Club. The skipper is coming off a strong showing in his first year at Mizzou, where his team notched 36 wins, the most for the baseball Tigers since the 2008 campaign. Though the team lost Tanner Houck to the Boston Red Sox in the first round of the MLB draft – and two other players in later rounds – the roster remains strong. The Tigers return two freshman All Americans to help lead them as they compete in the SEC, college baseball’s toughest conference.
The Tiger Club of KC meets every Tuesday during the school year. Lunch starts at 11:30 a.m. with the program beginning at Noon. Our Tuesday, November 14 speaker will be Dennis Dodd, CBSSports.com columnist. Hope to see you at the Westport Flea Market Bar and Grill.
