I’ve been bringing this up for a few years. Prof. Jago makes a great point that a state can save more money while maintaining/improving quality by cutting universities rather than cutting programs and faculty.

Notice how the first comment is a wildly misinformed Truman grad who doesn’t understand that ADs are funded almost entirely independent of the university. She also needs to see the recent student success numbers that show MU outperforming it’s AAU peers.
