Brian's got one more story coming. The easiest way to keep up with everything is to go to Signing Day Central here where we've linked everything of note today: https://missouri.rivals.com/news/signing-day-central-2017
This is an okay class. I'm not going to say it's terrible because Rivals ranks it 46th or whatever. It's not great either. You can survive a class or two like this if it's better than the rankings and if it doesn't become the norm. You can't win consistently in the SEC recruiting in the mid 40s. Next year's their shot to have a big class and they've got to win to do it.
I like Brooks and Miller a lot, I think Tyree Gillespie is a big sleeper and I am gonna root like hell for O'Shae Clark. We'll see how it all pans out over time.
We're still waiting on Malik Young. Nobody at Missouri knows what is happening or what to expect and neither does anyone at Florida. If we get news, we'll pass it on.
Mostly, just want to thank Brian and Schiffer for helping out, Paul and Sean for working relentlessly leading up to Signing Day (and they're still trying to reach Young and Sampson as well). But more than that, I want to thank you guys. You allow us to do what we do every day, you keep reading and you even put up with a network that has crapped on you on the biggest day of the year two years in a row. We didn't today, but that deserves no congratulations. The minimum expectation is that we're here and online. We were. So we met the minimum expectation. Hopefully our coverage went beyond that for you guys.
Brian and I will have a podcast tomorrow to wrap up the class (efforting AJ Ofodile to join us, but that's TBD as I'm sure he's more exhausted than we are). I'll have a story on 2018 on Friday and Brian, Paul and Sean are already at work talking to a bunch of kids in that class. It's going to be stressful as hell for you guys and a lot of fun for us to cover this class. We promise to do it as well as we can.
If we get something on Young, we'll let you know. Otherwise, I owe @brianaustin and @ASchiffer some food and beverage.
