Of course, the last possessions have been awful producing nothing (today) and -2 (last week).
But I’m just as frustrated, if not more , by the possessions preceding the final ones.
Today, we had offensive fouls on at least two possessions, failing to increase our lead, and letting the Hogs score. Same thing against Florida.
We just can’t seem to step on opponents’ throats. Given a chance to extend leads and force the other team out of their game plan, we just wilt.
Tonight, we got one really good look from Barnett, but of course, the shot rims out. That three would have undoubtedly forced the Hogs into desperation. Instead, we are left with what we got.
