A way for the SEC to respond to academic gains of the new 3-conference alliance. Give Tulane and Rice $5 million a year each from our new TV revenue. Two great AAU schools in our footprint, AAC and Conference USA football teams with a pulse. SEC would guarantee Tulane and Rice 2 SEC football opponents scheduled annually for TV exposure and to differentiate themselves. Tulane and Rice would be SEC academic affiliates and collaborate on SECU group academic research and initiatives.
