Jackson is leaving and maybe Hughes.
Gabe, you mentioned in your Game at a Glance on the front page "Willie Jackson became the 13th player to be dismissed or transfer out in two-and-a-half years under Kim Anderson and despite what the coach said after the game it seems possible to very likely that fellow freshman Frankie Hughes will follow. This year is over. It's not about this year. But losing those players could delay the rebuilding process after 2017."
I have to somewhat disagree. I am one that was not sorry to see his first class transfer out. They didn't play as a team, they were suspend all the time and they just never seem to buy in whatever you want to believe that means. Jackson, IMO, might have become a strong contributor down the road even if never starting. I had some hopes for Hughes, but it isn't working out.
So, the point to my post is that losing some of these guys could actually help a new coach by finding some guys that hasn't had the life sucked out of them and fits his style. I don't know if that will happen, but I do not see most of these freshmen and sophomores being the core strength of a new team. I think some more may have to go to make room for players the new coach sees fit to build with. I think any good coach that will consider coming here will not see a lot to work with.
