Great, great win tonight. Big props to the players for stepping up and being relentless as hell. But to be honest, I want to give Coach Cuonzo his proper due as well. This was his best coached game in my opinion. I'm not sure if you guys know how hard it is to change the team's mindset after the ass-whipping they took their first match-up. He had the boys ready to go to war tonight and that's exactly how they played.
Great halftime adjustment in emphasizing getting the ball to Tilmon in the 2nd half. That was my only worry, that Pinson and Dru would keep chucking up threes and not being as hot as they were in the 1st half. Very impressive team win, with contributions from all across the board. Dru has been playing at an extremely high level these last handful of games. Hitting the outside shot and beating his man off the dribble has made me a believer in him. Great game by X, Tilmon did his thing and Kobe and Pickett hit a couple huge threes.
Don't know what Coach could and should do with Mark Smith but damn he's struggling big time. I hopped on the bandwagon after the Illinois win and hopped back off not too long after.
