If you are wondering who is playing where this is how they practice. Woods and Rossberg are the only 5's. Gant, Allen, Puryear are practicing as 3's or 4's. IT appears MU is going to be a 4 out 1 in offense. They are allowing and encouraging Gant, Allen and Puryear to shoot threes and the 15 footer

And now for the bad stuff. Dont expect a lot out of Woods on the offensive end. He looks very unsure of himself and appears to be an offensive liability. I sure hope I am wrong on this but he needs to get better quick to be a factor here. Rossbergs footwork is improved but he just cant finish. I dont see any offensive help here

And now for the good stuff. Phillips and Isabell are really going after each other hard in practice. Phillips will be your leader on this team whether he starts or not. Phillips in practice has very nice form on his three point shot. He will not be a liability there. He is also a true pass first guard. The ball doesnt stick in his hands like it has in the past with our pg's. Isabell is a good athlete and hard to handicap. He is not a pass first guard but more of a combo guard. It is obvious one or both of those guys are going to play a lot

Your leading scorer will be N. Wright. He is working very hard on going to the hole. He is a legit 6'5 but still has trouble finishing at the rim. Perhaps it was just this practice. That said, he is vastly improved in going to the hole which will help this offense.

CVL will play. Great court vision and a great shot. I was impressed he wasnt a defensive liability. Having him and Wright on the floor will open the middle for the two point guards

Puryear is a big kid. Not sure what his role will be but he will play. I have more hope for him than I do for Woods and Rossberg in the paint. I was not that impressed with Payne. He didnt appear to be quck enough to beat his guy off the dribble to score. Not sure what his role will be.

The best offense will be when we dont have a 5 in the game. If KA does that they will score some points. If he can get Namon to board up along with GAnt, Allen and Puryear this could be a fun offense to watch
