I'm super late to the party and could not watch the whole game live. I'm not the least bit surprised by the result. Why?
Coming off Arky and Georgia we just seemed destined for letdown. But a letdown should have been a loss not a prison rape.
Well because the D has shown the last two weeks they cannot stop anybody. And I mean anybody. They literally give up 7 yards a play. Just not going to cut it at any level. And for some reason we want to bring back the defensive line... God help us.
Again, not to beat a dead horse but it feels like we have just given up at punt return. We have no answer and it finally cost us today.
Offensively we saw Bazelak peak against LSU and he has been on a slow decline ever since. The deep passing game is putrid. The long ball missed to Bannister was inexcusable. You have to give your receiver a chance. Connor was awful tonight...no reason to sugar coat it.
This was sad to see. But not surprising. I cannot remember a defense so utterly helpless.
