This team was wounded last year far beyond what I thought they were. Bringing in a whole new staff that's playing a ton of young players is really hard to be good. It's crazy to me that people like Gabe and Matter have been telling us that this is going to take time and most on this board think we should be competing for an sec title this year. I have faith BO and the staff are going to get this thing going the right direction, but it's going to take time. In my opinion the defense played a lot better last night, but the offense is lost. Lock is lost, he has big arm talent but I think huepel is asking more of him than he can handle. Treat lock like the young qb he is. Use the tight ends, 3-6 yard throws and I'm not talking about from the hash to the far sideline. Run the ball and if you're going to give Zanders a look give him a real look. We needed the middle Tennessee game instead of Florida this week for some confidence, but it is what it is.
