Like I said back then, John Grass was mentioned in 2015 as a possible HC for us, according to a person who would know. Mack liked him a lot, but decided against him after deciding it would be too big of a jump for him. Mack then went after Rhule before obviously hiring Odom. Mack encouraged Odom to take a good look at Grass for OC, and Odom was a fan but clearly preferred Heupel.
Fast forward two years, Odom is strongly considering Grass, even with Mack out of the picture. Should be interesting to watch in the coming days/weeks.
