Only 4 years into playing football, the University of West Florida has played in 2 National Championship games.... and won their first championship today!!! (and yeah, it's my daughters school just up the road)
It has been amazing watching how the coaching staff have brought together kids who bought into their vision and who were willing to work through real barriers to get better every game, win games they were not supposed to, and most importantly build a fan base in a town that is saturated with SEC alumns...
It's a lot of hard work, and while I don't dare dream of the same results, I hope Eli and crew can do something similar at Mizzou and in the state of Missouri. It is something special to behold.
