Fellow Mizzou fans,

I have a good friend named Danny Callahan who was nominated for the 2016 Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Man/Woman of the Year campaign. It is basically a 10 week competition to see who can raise the most money for LLS research and the person that raises the most money wins. This campaign really hits home with Danny. He was diagnosed with Burkitts Lymphoma in 2012 at the age of 27. I am happy to say he kicked cancers ass and is now in remission. Danny has set a lofty goal of $50,001. His reasoning for this goal is that if he raises over $50,000, he can choose the research his funds go to. Danny is hoping to hit his mark to fund a study that benefits the local Kansas City cancer community. He is really hoping to give back to the community that supported him through his battle. Danny is a HUGE Mizzou fan. He could watch a game and tell you every player and where they went to HS. It would be awesome to see some Mizzou support and to ensure the 2016 LLS Man of the Year isnt a beaker fan! We know KC is crawling with them. If anyone has any interest in donating (EVERY dollar counts!) you can do so on the link below. All donations are tax deductible. I told Danny I would be posting this and he was a little apprehensive. He feels like he has already had enough people show him support so I really want to help him out. If you would like the 501.C.3 tax deductible form, shoot him an email at Dancallahan22@gmail.com and he will be happy to shoot that over to you! I appreciate all the help we can give him! Lets make sure the Man of the Year in KC is a Mizzou fan!
