A note on Hattis from our New Mexico high school publisher Kyle Henderson:
6-foot-7, 265 pound Offensive Tackle Henry Hattis out of Rio Rancho (N.M.) Cleveland picked up his 6th offer today from Missouri. Hattis and his family visited Columbia, Missouri during spring break a few weeks ago. According to Henry's father Bill, they loved College Atmosphere, facilities, and liked the players and coaching staff. This morning after Hattis' workout, Coach AJ Rickor and Coach Josh Henson and offered him a full scholarship over the phone. Hattis now has 6 offers: New Mexico, New Mexico State, Texas Tech, Washington State, Arizona State, and now Missouri. Other schools that have sent letters of interest include: Oregon, Arkansas, Purdue, and Texas. Hattis does plan to attend a Rivals Camp within the next few months.
Of note: Hattis' sister Sarah committed to Texas a few years back to play both basketball and volleyball. Henry's father Bill is 6-feet-10 inches tall.
