Going to Saturday Sunday at the US Open next week. Shinnecock Hills has been a bucket list item for a while, so I decided to knock it off this year. Only issue is the location is pretty horrific as far as travel goes, being so far out the island.
Staying at a hotel by JFK airport and taking the train over to the course in Southampton (unless anyone has better ideas). Also, going to the Yankee game Friday night. Would love to hear people's opinions on best way to navigate to the stadium from the JFK airport area. Game is 7:05.
