I would guess the big jump in PM membership that @GabeD boasts about is primarily from fans of ku and other SEC schools.
The information that was leaked to Randy Karraker has done great damage to Mizzou Football and the HC search. It never should have happened
What else never should have happened is the media pissing themselves with excitement to cover this negative story on Mizzou.
This would not happen at other schools. No way jayhawkslant runs with a negative story on Bill Self. Even if the info was leaked, they would sit on it for the good of the University. Not at Mizzou. Those that cover Mizzou are foaming at the mouth to damage Mizzou to personally make a buck.

Fact is, largely because of how the media covers Mizzou compared to other schools, Mizzou is a very difficult place to be a HC or AD. Much easier to go to ku where Bill Self is allowed to pay players and use the campus as his personal whorehouse with no concerns of the media covering it.
