As Missouri continues to monitor offensive linemen in the 2026 class, the staff had just the right person to offer Kamari Blair.
Wide receivers coach Jacob Peeler called Blair with an offer Tuesday. Peeler, the Tigers' area recruiter for Tennessee, kickstarted conversation with the four-star offensive tackle, one who is looking to take an unofficial visit to Missouri this spring.
"He seemed very genuine," Blair said, "but I didn't really get to talk to him too, too much."
Peeler also passed along what offensive line coach Brandon Jones admired from the Blair's junior year film at Clarksville (Tenn.) Kirkwood.
"How athletic I am, how fast I can run," the 6-foot-6, 280-pound lineman said.
With nearly 30 offers, Blair highlighted two other SEC programs atop his list: South Carolina and Vanderbilt. The Commodores are located about an hour from his hometown.
"There's just good academics, SEC football, close to home," Blair said.
Visiting for the Arkansas game, Brock Barrows jumped in early on Missouri's radar among in-state Class of 2028 recruits. A program legacy, Barrows will return for camp action June 12, a time he might be on offer watch with a school that's monitored his early development and even visited him at school.
