With the addition of Derek Nicholson to the staff, Missouri has frequented more high schools of top linebackers.
Nicholson, who joined the staff as the new linebackers coach in January, offered Class of 2027 four-star Max Brown on Tuesday. Brown ranked the No. 49 recruit in the sophomore class in an update three months ago.
"I like that he said that all the players are tight knit," Brown said, "and they like to prepare kids for after football as well as prepare them to win a national championship."
Nicholson liked how Brown played with fire and flew around the field during his sophomore season at Jefferson (Ga.) High. Brown logged 152 total tackles and two sacks this past season.
