Missouri closed out the first NCAA Contact Period of the year Sunday, with more staffers returned to Columbia after being all over the county this past month. The NCAA Dead Period will run through March 2.

As the Tigers put in-person recruiting on hold, more updates will flow in from top targets in the 2026 class as well as rising targets in the upcoming cycles. Here are six recruits with updates on their respective conversations with Missouri.

Offensive line coach Brandon Jones made an in-school visit to see Jackson Cantwell on Tuesday at Nixa (Mo.) Nixa R 2. Heading into the NCAA Dead Period, Cantwell welcomed many top programs to see him, including Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State and Oregon.

"Nothing too new," Cantwell said about his conversation with Jones. "Just talking ball and catching up about the offseason."

Cantwell, a four-star offensive tackle and top recruit in the 2026 class, attended a Missouri men's basketball game Jan. 25, when the school recognized his father, Olympic shot putter Christian Cantwell, on the court during the second half.

On Sunday, Cantwell announced a Top 6 of Georgia, Miami (FL), Michigan, Missouri, Ohio State and Oregon. He will take official visits to all six programs.

Ben Congdon jumped on every top school's radar after his junior season at Zoarville (Ohio) Tuscarawas Valley Local, and Missouri got him in for an unofficial visit the weekend before Junior Day.

The Class of 2026 three-star offensive tackle confirmed Arkansas and Missouri are both programs he's considering for official visits after scheduling one to Miami (FL) for June 20-22.

"Thinking about it for sure," Congdon said. "Will see what they say if they make the trip out here this spring."
