I've been told this is impossible. TWO armed bystanders intervened to kill an armed, multiple carjacking suspect in a Walmart parking lot who'd already shot several victims. How did these heroes not shoot each other or all the other bystanders in the crossfire? How did they avoid getting shot by the police? I mean, these are things I've been told over and over again would definitely happen, so what gives?

They have DefCon 1 level background checks, waiting periods, travel restrictions, magazine size restrictions, and certain guns are banned. It seems all the festival attendees knew the laws, as none of them had guns to defend themselves. So how is it possible this happened in NJ?
