I sat in the best seats I have ever sat in, in my life, right behind Mizzou bench. A few observations:
1. The refs were awful and and the calls started going our way after they heard the guy next to me tell one of the refs he looked like Herm Edwards and reffed about as good.
2. Cuanzo Martin's voice does not carry over crowd noise. He needs to hire someone who has a loud voice to yell instructions in a noisy environment.
3. Never order a double Jameson at the bar at Scott Trade because it cost $28. I drank it like Louis XIV, savored every sip.
4. My feet were freezing sitting that close. I think the hockey ice was right below me.
5. My 12 year old liked the golden girls. That makes me happy.
6. Mizzou was significantly taller than Illinois. It didn't matter tonight.
7. My youngest noticed Michael Porter needs to get more sleep, or take a nap. He yawned 15 times.
Glad I could give some solid intelligence. I will probably never sit that close again, so this will probably be my last post.
