Sat in the south endzone last night and thought I would share my observations of the game.
1) I know what the announced attendance was, but I will say the crowd was loud, enthusiastic, and in to the game.
2) J'Den Cox is one talented individual.
3) It would seem simple to display other scores as well as Mizzou game stats somewhere in the stadium besides the south endzone score board.
4) Ish Witter is not the most talented back Mizzou has ever had but I will tip my cap to the young man. He was nearly the unsung hero during the drive that ended in the third INT.
5) I would have bet a lot of money (and lost) that Mizzou was going to run a bootleg play action pass on that aforementioned 3rd down. I had visions of #11 taking it to the house and the entire Georgia fan section leaving .
6) I like our team. Sure they have issues but lack of effort does not seem to be one. This team reminds me a little of the Bradley/Wilder teams of 40 years ago.
7) I am glad I renewed my tickets. Game was very entertaining.
8) Barry Odom reminds me a little of a young Dabo Swinney. Once he has a season or two under his belt, I think we will all be very happy he is the Tiger coach.
Lastly....
Reading the sports page this morning and seeing that Zero U, Bevo, and Leprechauns all lost greatly eased the anguished felt from the end of the Tiger game.
