Can a Mizzou fan objectively answer where Odom would have Memphis had he has taken over the program instead of choosing Mizzou?
He had to know he was taking on a rebuilding vs a quality mid major. You've got to think he did it because he loves Mizzou and wants to succeed here bc (let's be honest) he'd have less pressure, more talent and the chance to do what Herman and Fuentes did and move to a Big power five if successful. Career wise Memphis was the easy choice. In hindsight that might have been better for both sides and we might have Campbell or Babers.
Saying that I think he'll turn it around and get this team back on track.
