His starting quarterback was recruited by GP--he does not have a good group of sophomore and junior receivers and showed real basic weaknesses in his (and his staff)basic play calling against Kentucky in the second half. They need a top notch coach if we are to have a top notch program. GP was vastly superior to Odom and never had the quality wins of Devine/Onofrio. I am an old guy and I do not feel bad at all not going to Columbia. I have been waiting for a bus that never shows up. Only striving for excellence is acceptable. Let's start with a high quality coach that can beat some notable teams. Losses are not as painful as they used to be because I expect them. Odom has not earned a long term contract-- Anyone that saw the Florida game knows our game ball should have gone to their coach and the inept 245 lb quarterback. Still not a big win-. After Kentucky I have my Dooly doubts. MU needs a new head coach that can recruit, put together a top staff and generate enthusiasm. Oh and by the way, Kansas City is to the west of Columbia and we have a few football players.
