I know I’m probably in the minority here, but I was talking with someone about Odom and he told me to look up the records of Mark Stoops at Kentucky. I know Odom has made some questionable coaching decisions (I know I’m being generous with this) at times, but with the market of coaches we can get, and the turmoil that the university of a whole was/is in when he arrived, shouldn’t we at least go 4 years into this and see if we can turn things around? Stoops is in year 5 at a basketball school and has Kentucky sitting at 7-1. That’s the most wins he’s had for the year the last 3 years. I know we had such the painful experience with Kim, but football can’t be resurrected in 2-3 years. I’d like to see where we are next year before making a switch to an unknown and taking another 2-3 years to make another bowl game. I like the looks of this year’s recruiting class and I think we have some good pieces to build on for next year. Coaching changes will change that real quick.
