Louisville just released a Request For Proposal, seeking responses in order to select (quote) a "search firm, with expertise in sourcing, recruiting and selecting highly qualified Athletic Director candidates".
This is a one year contract, that they want to start March 1st, 2018
According to the RFP, the selection decision will be based on;
a. Cost – 25%
b. Experience – 50 %
c. Timeframe – 25%
Tom Jurich was dismissed in mid October, so issuing an RFP 90 days later is a bit surprising to me, especially since they are choosing a firm in part, based on the time line to complete.
I wonder if they tried to accomplish without a search firm, first?
