Need to bring in explosive talent at WR *Burden*. Keke Chism and Dove are solid players but neither scares a defense. It's nice to see JJ Hester and Dominic Lovett getting more reps. With more explosive players outside they will be able to take one of the short passes to the house or be able to actually take the top off the defense. Bazelak might not be the best deep thrower but part of that is your WRs getting separation for your QB. Improved playmakers at WR will also open up the run game more.
Problem on defense is pure talent. Steve Wilks' scheme is fine. Need to upgrade the defensive line with players that are aggressive and athletic and can create havoc plays (ie TFLs, sacks, turnovers).
If coach Drink and the staff can bring in a talented class at WR and at the D-Line I believe things will improve quickly.
