I'm hearing Brad Davis, formerly of Jim McElwain's staff at Florida, is a strong candidate for Mizzou's opening.
Dan Mullen brought his OL coach from Mississippi State and while Davis hasn't officially been ruled out at Florida, my guy down there told me it wouldn't surprise him if he was looking around.
Cannot tell you if a deal is done or anything. Will tell you that the same person who told me about Davis told me Missouri was hiring Vernon Hargreaves II this morning (I couldn't get it confirmed prior to the release, but since that info was accurate, I think there's a good chance this info is as well).
