It is obvious that our offense has regressed, but the real question is why. A lot of people are blaming JH and he definitely should take some of the blame. The real answer is at QB IYAM. I was a sunshine pumper earlier this year, but I based almost all of my expectations on Drew Lock taking that big step from his sophomore year to his junior year. This was also going to be his second year in this offense and yet we haven't seen any improvement whatsoever. Lock is Charmin soft and just looks lost most of the time. Where is his fight? When is he going to will his team to victory? (answer, never).

We can blame JH, and I do think his hurry up and punt offense has killed our defense, but I also don't believe anyone can be successful without a solid QB. Your QB needs to be the on field leader of your offense. What we have witnessed is an offense void of any leadership with mistakes and drops galore. I'm not really sure it is going to matter if things don't drastically improve. If we see the same shit show that we have witnessed so far, JH and all of the coaches will be gone at the end of the season.
