I think it's safe to say this will probably be the best defense we've played. Quite frankly it was probably the best defense in the country and most efficiency and traditional stats suggest it was. It appears that JT Tuimoloau and Michael Hall Jr have yet to announce if they will play, but Tyleik Williams, Denzel Burke and Jack Sawyer have all stated they will be playing. No matter what, this is going to be a hell of a defensive front for us to match up against.

Ohio State played A LOT of trash teams as they usually do, but their games against Michigan, Notre Dame and Penn State are somewhat instructive. In those games, Ohio State allowed the following points:

Michigan 24
Notre Dame 14
Penn State 12

The Penn State game was a beat down. Notre Dame moved the ball pretty well against them putting up 351 yards on just 7 real drives. The reason ND failed to win was because they turned the ball over on downs inside OSU territory twice and missed a FG.

It will again be interesting to see how we do in the trenches vs. such a good defensive front. Hopefully we have grown from our experience versus Georgia and can eliminate some of the mistakes that cost us in that game. If we can manage to not turn the ball over, I think we'll be able to move the ball, but drives will be at a premium and we can't afford to leave points on the board. It will be a struggle to get to 20 in this game.
