I love old people. Heck I am one, or at least am getting close. But wow!
Tonight I went to the women’s game. Within 2 minutes after the opening tip, I got 3 dirty looks from an old woman in front of me & a “Jesus Christ!” from her old husband after yelling “defense!” I really hadn’t strained myself yet.
At the end of the 1st quarter, I moved down near a friend who said seats in front of him were open. Before the first half was over another old lady 2 rows in front tried to shush me.
Then after the game, a old lady who was parked in her seat in our row scolded me for not going out the other way when I left, as it caused her to have to allow me out. I went that way because I wanted to talk to someone over there & I was quite a bit closer to that aisle anyway.
I’m glad they’re coming to the games. I’m sympathetic to old people who don’t want you to stand in front of them. But yelling too loudly??? And daring to exit the row while they’re still in their seat??? Sheesh!!!!!
