I think these two schools are a prime example of recruiting strategies and how they differ from school to school. While Missouri has done well with under the radar recruits and are back to back SEC East Champs, we still struggle to compete with the big boys of college football. Meanwhile Ole Miss has done the impossible and knocked of Alabama two years in a row and look to be a serious contender in the West this year. Yes I know we beat Ole Miss two years ago, but that was when Freeze was just getting things going with recruiting. So look at where both teams are this year, yes Mizzou is 3-0, but would struggle to put points up against Webb City this year, meanwhile Ole Miss is steam rolling everyone in their path including Alabama. So my question to everyone is, what is the difference? Coaching? Recruiting? or what?
