It seems like a really low floor (like no floor), medium height ceiling move. With several jobs available I am sure his agent will be able to drive up dollars and years.
Say he sucks - Everybody laughs. You are stuck, for a lot of money for a really long time.
Say he is mediocre - You just paid a lot more for Barry Odom.
Say he great - He uses the job as a stepping stone, somebody pays his buyout he leaves early and we start over in a few years.
I know there are probably a few more layers to it and the numbers would dictate everything. I just don’t see him being a long term solution while also carrying a lot of risk. It would bring immediate excitement but may also be an expensive experiment...
