Nick Bienz has never played in a PGA Tour event. Today he tried to Monday qualify for the Rocket Mortgage. He posted a 7-under 65 early in the day, and while waiting to see if his score would be good enough, he shot the video below with Ryan French of Monday Q Info while sipping a cold one. He would down two more beers while he awaited his fate.
Nick got into a 5-for-4 playoff. Ryan was live-tweeting. One guy birdied the 1st hole. Another made a 40-footer about 6 holes later. And on the 9th (!) hole, Nick stuffed it to 4 feet and holed the putt.
