I really wanted us to hire Golden. But apparently you are going to hire Dennis Gates. I am a bit disappointed you didn’t conduct your own poll on PowerMizzou because, as we know, the audience in “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” is pretty much always right. I started a thread and had many on here convinced that Golden was the guy. And you paid not ONE BIT OF ATTENTION TO IT. You went in another direction…….
Now, I have to say my peace. Great job having the guts to let our last coach go and hire an up and comer rather than some safe retread. I like the bold move and hope it pays off with SEC titles and March Madness runs. Give him every support and turn him loose. Find a way to rain NIL dollars on the program so we can ascend to the elite level we should be at. If those fukin cheaters to the West can drag athletes to that wasteland of a state we have no excuses now cheating is legal. I’m 100% behind Gates and ready to welcome him to the ZOU with open arms! I can’t wait to see decent competitive basketball played again. LET’S GO !!!!!!!!!!!!
