Many Missouri coaches hit the road again last night. Barry Odom is not yet on the road because we have a season-ending media session with him at noon today. He will get out either tonight or in the morning. Here's what I've been able to confirm so far:

*Missouri will be back in Arizona checking on Walter Palmore and Malik Young today. I still believe Missouri will go as high as five defensive tackles in this class (three juco, two high school). The high school targets are Caleb Sampson and Jaylen Twyman.

*Cornell Ford will be in North Carolina for an in home with Larry Rountree tonight. I think there's a good shot we see a commitment from Rountree this week.

*Mizzou will have an in-home with Chris Turner tomorrow night. Turner visited Arkansas this week. My intel is that the Razorbacks want one DE in this class and have two targets (Turner and some juco guy). Not sure which one they prefer. In other words, I'm not sure Turner can commit to Arkansas right now even if he wants to. Will be interesting to see what Missouri's approach is on the visit. I'd think they'll want him to reaffirm his commitment or let him know they have to start recruiting other guys. But that's only a guess on my part.

*I've been told Odom will be at East St. Louis at some point this week. I want to say Tuesday is what I was told, but can't remember that for sure right off the top of my head.

*Visitors we've confirmed for this weekend: Caleb Sampson, Eli Gardiner, DaRon Davis, Zion Debose

This is enough to draw attention but the feeling is he sticks with Missouri. DeMontie Cross will be in Memphis to meet with him tomorrow night

As we reported they would be Mizzou was in Thatcher AZ today

Chester Graves was indeed here this weekend BTW

Again, no chance he does an interview and I'd be surprised if he signs anywhere, but proof he was here.

Hearing Da'Ron Davis is going to take the ACT this weekend and has moved his official visit back to January.

Hearing good things on Isaiah Miller and where Mizzou stands after the official visit this weekend.

Jordan Ulmer and Caleb Perry have gone radio silent.

Should have more tomorrow. In-homes with Aubrey Miller and Chris Turner and I'm trying to track down a few new things as well.

TUESDAY DECEMBER 6TH

Couple of interesting tweets to start your morning:

Reading into tweets can be dangerous, but I feel confident this indicates a commitment. And I feel relatively confident it is Larry Rountree. Honestly, we're a bit surprised it hasn't happened yet.

That's about running back Isaiah Miller, who visited Missouri this past weekend. So far as I know he's not got another visit scheduled this weekend. If he's going to be a mid-year enrollee, that means he's got to decide before he takes any other trips (this is the last visit weekend until January 20th). Based on what I've heard, I like Missouri's chances here.

Speaking of mid-year enrollees, I asked Barry Odom yesterday about going over 25. He said that you can only sign 25 ON NATIONAL SIGNING DAY. If you sign four in December at the mid-year date, you can sign 25 more in February. And then a couple after that if you want. I still think Mizzou has more than 25 in this class when all is said and done.

Couple of new names for you this morning:

Mammoth offensive lineman (6-7, 345) Yasir Durant told me Missouri recently offered him and he is taking an official visit this weekend. The profile linked is a 2016 profile. Out of high school in Philadelphia, he signed with San Diego State last year over Rutgers and North Carolina. But he's now in Yuma, AZ at Arizona Western CC.

What I was told is that Durant qualified late out of high school. Basically finished up his classes in summer and got qualified but by the time he did, San Diego State was out of room and couldn't take him. So he enrolled at AWCC and was a second-team all conference player this year as a freshman. When you are a qualifier out of high school, you do not have to graduate from juco to be eligible. Current Mizzou QB Jack Lowary was in the same situation. So he is set to be a mid-year enrollee somewhere. It seems to be either Mizzou or San Diego State. Durant would have four to play three wherever he ends up.

Barry Odom is in Philadelphia today to visit Durant's family. I'm told Missouri is really high on him. While Odom is in Philly, I hear Glen Elarbee is in Arizona. Here's his film:

Also hear from a couple places that Vanderbilt commit Adam Sparks will be in town this weekend. Sparks is a guy that's been on the fringe of our radar for a while. He's been committed to Vandy, but Mizzou has never given up. I've gotten indications from sources close to both Mizzou and Vandy that he is definitely a guy who could flip. Sparks hasn't responded the last couple of times I've tried him, but he did confirm the visit with our Vandy guys. He's one I was told to have on "flip alert."

Will finish this morning with a note on Aubrey Miller from a guy I know in Memphis:

Memphis and Michigan are coming pretty hard after Miller. The concern is the Wolverines. Nobody knows for sure if he has an offer from them at this point. But Miller's high school coach went to Michigan and, well, it's Michigan so if indeed they want him, that will be the one Missouri has to fend off. In talking to people, Miller has been pretty clear that he's only going to be recruited once and is going to take visits, but the feeling is that he signs with Missouri. Again, I think Michigan is the only offer that might change that (perhaps Tennessee, but that's a guess on my part, not based on anything I've been told). We'll keep you updated.

*Sparks confirmed his official visit this weekend and told me he'll have an in home with Greg Brown and AJ Ofodile today.

*Isaiah Miller told me Missouri coaches will be in Florida for an in home tomorrow. He didn't say which ones, but I'm assuming Josh Heupel will be there as he's recruiting Miller. Miller also has an in home visit with Tennessee on Thursday. That is one to watch.

*Mizzou commit Joshuah Bledsoe told me that he had his in-home visit with DeMontie Cross last week. Bledsoe is solid from what I can tell, no other visits planned.

*Zion Debose confirmed that he is visiting this weekend and will have an in home with AJ Ofodile tomorrow night

*A few things before the basketball game starts:

Andy Hill is in KC at Chester Graves' basketball game right now. Ole Miss was at his school today. Bama and Auburn are asking around. Graves is going juco but the key will be where he goes. If he stays in Kansas, Missouri has a lot better chance to get him in two years than if he goes off to Mississippi.

Jordan Ulmer told me he has already had an in home with Ryan Walters. He is taking an official visit to Minnesota this weekend. Not sure a timetable on the decision there.

Mentioned in other threads that Jeff Thomas, Rey Estes and other ESL players are visiting Illinois this weekend. Decent chance the Illini land them all. My thoughts on this are in the other thread. There are players you compromise your pride and bend over backwards for and chase. At this point in time, I don't see Missouri doing that. They'll recruit the kid. I'm not saying they won't. But if people at East St. Louis want to send these kids to Illinois, so be it I think.

A note on Thomas: I'm told it's pretty much just Mizzou and Illinois at this point. Alabama, Ohio State and others have dropped out. Was told this by multiple sources independent of each other.

*I've got messages out to quite a few other guys to check on dates of in home visits, or if they've already happened.

*As we had told you he would be, DeMontie Cross was in home with Aubrey Miller tonight.

Spoke to Pompey Coleman tonight. Said he's at 90 percent after breaking his leg early in his high school season. Added that Glen Elarbee told him on his visit they have no plans to redshirt him as of right now. They'd like him to be on the depth chart even as a second string for the 2017 season opener. -Schiffer

We'll keep you up to date on things as we learn more this week.
