This past weekend was in Columbia with my older son for a baseball showcase at Taylor stadium. We had sometime on our hands and spent some time driving around Columbia. Though it had only been a couple of years since I had been in town, I was surprised at how much some areas (the Farmer's Market, Log Boat Brewery and the Art District (?)) had changed and been redeveloped... especially the are around Log Boat which has several new restaurants in what used to be a pretty overlooked part of town. Is that area now called "The Stockyards"?
Anyway, just wanted to say I am envious of the folks who live in CoMo... what a great small city.
