Watching some games this morning (particularly Purdue-Minnesota; Purdue has some huge slow white dude that camps out in the lane) and noticed that a lot of post players don’t get called for a lane violation when it is obviously occurring. That got me thinking, I can’t remember the last time, or ever, honestly, that a 3 second violation has been called in a game that I’ve watched. Does that rule still exist? Has it been modified to 5 seconds?
