I'm ignorant on the subject... but evidently, from Missourian (and Tribune crediting Missourian) reports, Hickman HS has a junior, that is practicing with the football team, likely would be starting QB.
He lived in Hickman district last year, but attended Tolton. Still lives in Hickman district, Tolton "flagged him for an illegal transfer".
His dad is volunteer coach for Hickman, this year.
Anyone know if this is typical? If so, what logical argument is behind why a kid living in a public school's district can't participate in MSHSAA sports & activities for that school?
Serious question, as it makes no sense to me, and reporting is limited because it's high school sports, privacy and such, etc.
