A demolition moratorium proposal
was presented to the CoMo City Council last night. The proposed moratorium
would halt the demolition of buildings in defined historic districts for the
next six months, while the City Council decides if revised ordinances are needed & enacted
Public comments and a
Council vote on the 6 month moratorium will be held on April 20th
If passed, the demo of the current Shakespeare's building could be delayed for up to 6
months, ....or shelved entirely
