really great at building the foundation of our football program and giving Barry Odom the recruiting base he needs. One thing that makes him better than Alden is he is letting the basketball coach do his own thing. Mike Alden's undoing was basketball related to not letting 3 solid coaches (Quin Snyder, Mike Anderson and Frank Haith) do their own thing. He was a fantastic Athletic Director in football but was just to hands on in basketball. Jim Sterk has done well from the self-destruction of Mack Rhoades.
